Description:
The 2026 CAMC Vandalia Health Emergency Medicine Conference will feature lectures, case presentations and educational sessions on a variety of acute and critical care issues facing health care professionals today. This one-day conference will focus on current trends in emergency and pre hospital medicine. The program is designed for physicians, advanced practice professionals including physician assistants, nurse practitioners and EMS professionals Program is limited to 120 participants. No prerequisites are required. At the conclusion of this program participants should be able to: • Discuss Difficult Airway Management, focusing on Tracheostomy complications and Pediatric Airway Management. • Review the Prevention of Peri-Intubation Cardiac Arrest • Simulation and practice of Surgical Airway Procedures and the SALAD Technique for contaminated airways. • Discuss current Snakebite Care Recommendations and who gets Antivenin. • Discuss, and review the Practice of Ultrasound-Guided Femoral Nerve Block for Hip Fractures
